You only need insurance with the non oa visa. Come in on the visa mentioned above and convert to a non o for 50+ yrs old. No insurance required

Didn't realise you could get a 90 day non o from an exempt. Don't need one as I've been here years, but very interesting. Thank you.

@Craig ******
honestly I would check with a call to your immigration office. But up to you

yes mate. I have replaced a tm6 with immigration in sakon nakhon. A police report was required. If you just grab a new form and fill it out the form number will be different to the one recorded on your entry to thailand. This will show on their computer. The report is very simple to make and the cops just fill in one form and give you your copy. Longest thing I waited for was my local bib phoning immigration to find out what they had to do. Lol

Forgot to add they will issue you a replacement tm6, blank, but with the Same form number as your previous tm6

I think so yes. Admin will confirm I'm sure. If they say yes you need to make a police report for lost documents and present the copy you're given to immigration at time of extension.

@Benjamin *****
is correct. Will be overstay if he stays until stamped date regardless of it being an error by immigration.

Seen this quite a bit recently, and not just for marriage extensions. I myself have been photographed as well as the data page from my passport twice. Once at home and once at the police station. Neither time immigration police.

What is wrong with keeping a post on topic? Just because a someone asked a supplementary question in someone else's post, does not meant that it should stay open until that extra question is answered. If the correct info has been given in reply to a question by one member, WHY should the post stay open because someone else doesn't understand?

The people running g this site give accurate, up to date, LEGAL responses to visa questions. It is done voluntarily in their own time. There are over 30k members on here and not everyone can be made happy by a handful of admins. If you don't like a response or that a post has been closed, pm the admin to get it reopened.

Too much cherry picking of information to try to get the response wanted, rather than the correct one.

End of rant. Sorry.
