your hotel or condo landlord are suppose to lodge it for you but some, including my landlord are friggen useless and don't do it. Even if you deduct the 1600 fine off your rent they will £uck you with your deposit when you move out. It's a joke of a system. Especially when you leave to travel and have to do it again when you return

The TM30 is a great way for immigration too make more money off foreigners so I'm surprised it's only changed now

oh but if you are doing 2 5 month stints you gotta go 2 month visa, 30 day extension, border run, 30 day extension. Don't do 2 border runs in the first 5 months if both by land as you are only permitted 2 of them in a calendar year. So if you want 10 months total, you'll have to do it this way unless you're flying out and back on a border run. Important you know this

Yeah. If aiming 6 months get the 60 day visa. Extend. Do a border run. Extend again. Do another border run for your 6 months.
