Does anyone know of a insurance company who will do a 3 month policy for the retirement non-o 3 month visa?

All the company's I've tried only do 1 year and I want to apply in Australia to save the hassle doing it in Thailand but won't be staying in Thailand for a full year. Meaning I'll be leaving not long after I'd apply for the 1 year extension and don't require a year policy.

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking a short-term insurance policy for a 3-month Non-O retirement visa while preparing to apply from Australia. Many responses suggest considering travel insurance instead of health insurance, as it fits the shorter stay better. Some users mention previous insurers that have provided suitable policies, and others suggest that a tourist visa might be a better option for a 3-month stay, which has no insurance requirement.

If you are in the uk take a look at the above. I think you will find it far cheaper than its competitors either in the UK or in Thailand

When I got my Non O about 15 months ago I contacted

who provided a suitable policy and a one page summary to give to the Embassy. I’m sure Robert Jackson could provide one as well.

Just take a travel insurance like for all travels one should have anyway

For only a three month stay you're looking at the wrong visa. An actual tourist visa will fit your timeframe, and without an insurance requirement. You get 60 days and can extend it for 30 more days giving you your three months. Any other visa that requires insurance you would get would end when your insurance ended anyway

Yes, get a 60 day tourist visa and go to immigration to extend for 30 days more. No need to purchase any kind of insurance. Immigration is easy to deal with.

You're probably looking for health insurance and that's your problem. If you only want a 3 month policy then look for travel insurance.
