I have to get a residency certificate for my motorbike purchase and apply for my non-o retirement visa extension as I'm in my final month of the 3 month visa.
What I want to know is if it's possible to get the residency certificate first thing in the morning and have enough time to apply for my visa extension afterwards.
Just want to save myself 2 days at immigration and potentially having to do the bank stuff twice as I know the bank statement has to be updated on the day of application.
Cheers

In Bangkok you can only get a residency certificate at immigration if you have done at least one 90 day report, and you can never do that on any tourist visa
It all depends on 1. which immigration and 2. which day. Mondays are impossible. Month of may has some holidays and closing time is 4:30pm. Avoid a heart attack ! Take your time and check your documents, especially TM30
Residency Certificate is in Jomtien no big deal. Go there after lunch, maybe 2.00pm and you wait only 5-10 minutes. Pickup time is from 4.00pm and another 5 minutes only.
by 4pm though I won't be able to apply for my visa extension. I was hoping I could get in around 10am. Get the certificate sorted in a couple of hours then submit for my extension
cheers. I know the validity of the certificate but I don't know whether I can get into immigration first thing and get it done that day and have enough time to apply for my visa extension.
