I promised some news about the story of my husband and his mistake ( 30 days visa exemption instead of reentry permit with non-O retirement visa)

A visa agency advised my husband to go to Chiang Mai international airport. He was received by an immigration officer who said “Mai Pen Rai” and took him to the first floor in the departure control area. They converted the 30 days visa exemption stamp to a reentry permit stamp and no one asked him for money.

So lucky and relieved!!

Thank you to everyone who gave their advice and especially to those who took a positive and caring position in this heated debate on whether my husband is an idiot or not. 😅🥰

Please let’s be supportive and indulgent. We all can make idiot things because we are tired, inattentive, or forgetful or because we are confused with the administrative paperwork.
