Joseph Michael Pedro III that is what the Officials actually want. But to ask people to go back home country is a bit over the top, especially when you from a Western Country.

over the years we have seen many South African coming in on 30 day entry visa, just recently we got many people with Tourist Visa and lately we noted, since March" these remarks.And since 2-3 weeks Vientiane start to reject people.

If you have that writing you have to go to home country. Yes, the Thai Consulate has screwed people with that remark.

Vientiane only reject people with the writing that mark "APPLY VISA IN HOME COUNTRY". So far we have seen 4-5 different writing, but not everyone got rejected. Savannakhet will always ask for bank statement.

no problem with that, why not fly, it is just one hour. Bus is like 14 hours. The other route is better. Bangkok Trad- Sihanouke to Phnom Penh.

No problems. At check in counter in USA the airline might ask for your return ticket, other than that you will be OK. I am not familiar with Vietnam visa, but for Cambodia you will be fine( visa on arrival USD30.-).
