It shouldn’t be a problem, however there is always the slight possibility some IO might ? It

However all it states is the minimum amount deposited every month and shows it was an international transfer on your statement

I have read that apparently you are also required to have a minimum balance in your account of 50,000 baht

However unsure how true or if scrutinised

If your Thai bank does have some funds in it, especially after your 65 comes in then goes out it would look better, this is just my opinion 🤔

The only ppl who usually ask for a return ticket is the airline when you are boarding

If you fly for free I assume it’s with the airline you worked for & they would know the process or you could explain it to them

However if you apply for a visa in another country they may ask also

Then buy a ticket for travel out of Thailand and cancel it

Or if you can get one using your free travel then cancel it

Entering via a land boarder you may also be asked to show one

Easiest scenario is buy one that can be fully refunded & cancle it after entry

@NA'Ahulelua ********
if you have a valid visa to stay in Thailand there is no issue

I used to fly in sometimes on a 30 day visa exempt then boarder bounce for another 30 and then extend at immigration for another 30

I would just change my return date

I’ve also flown in on 30 day visa exempt

Got a 3 month visa

Didn’t catch my flight home

Just bought a new ticket when my visa was up

I have friends who still come for 3 months, doing the same 30 /30 / 30 days

It’s a pain in the ass having to show a return flight

Last year as I also have done many times I just came on a one way flight into Thailand on a 30 day visa exemption

Get a letter from where you are staying, stating you reside there. List your name, country, date of birth, passport number

Take this letter & passport and passport sizes photos to your local immigration & request a certificate/ letter of residency to open a bank account, they usually charge 500 baht per letter.

Take this residency letter with your passport to a bank

The residency letter is only valid for 30 days

Go to a main branch usually helps

Bangkok bank & ? Kasikorn are the easiest

SCB usually requires a yellow house book to open an account however some ppl have opened without one

Krungshri usually requires you to have a retirement visa

Bangkok bank will usually ask you to buy a bank product

Accident insurance for 12 months, cheapest option is just under $6,000 baht

I didn’t have to buy it however my friend did also my girlfriend had to buy it to open an account

@Brown *******
yes, it used to be a pain for me when I was on METV, having to boarder bounce every 60 days

Not the cost, not even the travel

I would ride from Udonthani 60 Klm to the boarder

Having to cue up going through immigration although it was the return line to get back into Thailand was a real pain

I would of happily paid a bit more to just go to immigration office and report 🤔

@Brown *******
possibly a way to keep track of you, it’s something they like to do, alternatively I guess it helps boarder countries with tourists ect boarder bouncing.

In some instances in creates income for visa companies providing visa runs 🤔

One that needs thought behind their logic is Australia’s METV

12 month’s maximum stay 3 months at a time, not easy to boarder bounce 🤔

@Todd ********
then they prefer you get a 6 month METV which is possibly to do back to back however try it a 3rd time any most likely be denied

As others have stated there is no limit to flights into Thailand, however after awhile immigration will see the stamps in your passport & and eventually say you are trying to live in Thailand on as a tourist

Some airports are worse than others, I have heard Don Muang is bad for picking on ppl with high entry rate on tourist status

Visa agent or try rural Thailand

I got one for my Lao girlfriend in Udonthani earlier this year, she is on 30 visa exemption
