I am currently in my first one-year extension of a non-immigrant O retirement visa. I kept 800k balance for 3 months after receiving the extension, and it has dropped below that but remained above 400k since then.

I have also been transferring 65k+ every month since the start of the extension.

My question is whether i need to bring the balance back up to 800k for 2 months or 3 months before applying for the next extension, or can it remain 400k+ and rely on the past 12 months of 65k transfers?

I'm having trouble getting a definitive answer for this. I was just at Chaeng Watthana immigration to do a 90 day report and just can't seem to find the right person to give me the information.

Does it work with the requirements to apply the DTV Visa if we own 2 bank account with 300-400k each on it, and not 1 bank account with 500k+ for 6 months?

Hi, I have a non-O Retirement visa extension question. For the monthly transfer extension option, can I transfer 65k bhat into my account each month, and then transfer it out the same day. I transfer it into my gf's account. Will immigration have an issue with that? I am in Chiang Mai. Thanks for any advice.

this is not exactly visa related, but about the "extensions" so I hope the moderators allow the question being asked. There was an interesting question being asked in a discussion in another thread. Can anyone clarify? The new rules on proof of income require bank statements on "monthly" transfers from abroad to a thai bank account of 65,00/40,000 THB for the period of 12 months/ one year. The question was: can you do three 4-monthly transfers that together sum up to the required total of 800.000/400,000 THB per year coming into Thailand from abroad, instead of having to wire exactly 12 bank transfers?
