Yes they do it not n one application, however it is actually 2 visa's that they do, look in your passport you will see the 90 day visa followed by the 12 month visa

Depending on what your accommodation is, you can ask the owner for the following things, a letter from the owner stating your information, name, country, passport number and stating you reside there and a copy of the owners Thai ID card, take this to immigration and request a residency letter, however banks are now insisting on ppl to have a visa such as a retirement visa in order to get a bank account

Legally after 3 months in Thailand you are required to get a Thai licence

all of know is I did see someone state they had moved from an agent to doing it on their own & they were stating this as a reference to people who said that once you use an agent you are stuck with the agent stream

I have seen ppl post that they used an agent initially then made deposits each month of the required 65,000 / month, then on renewal they went themselves and extended on the monthly income stream
