if you can import it into a boarder country you could possibly find someone to pay to bring it into Thailand, as for registration I don’t think you can do it

They stopped allowing imports of vehicles, including bikes a long time ago

yes, by air it is supposed to be unlimited, or at least there are no restrictions , however depending on the airport you arrive and the IO who you deal with, some ppl are denied entry due to the number of times they enter on a tourist visa or visa exempt

not sure about the UK but Australia has 2 options.

1 is as you said, you can sponsor them to visit (tourist visa)

So immigration look at your finances ect, to see that you can financially support them.

2, Thai nationals can apply for a tourist visa themselves to visit Australia, besides other requirements, the financial requirement is that they can show they have at least $5,000 AUD in their bank account & it has to have been in their account for minimum of 6 months prior to their application.

So from what the OP has written I’m thinking they are somehow trying to apply showing she can financially support herself to visit the UK.

This was just a few months before the laws changed regaling overstays which included the bans that are in place now

I know someone who had their passport stolen, they had a police report and had used it to order a new passport, they visited immigration and asked what they should do, immigration response was they couldn’t do anything until the new passport arrived.

When it arrived they went to immigration to see what they needed to do.

They were shown a picture on a screen of them in line at the airport, and asked if that was them.

Then asked to sit and wait, shortly after immigration police came and took them into another area.

They were asked if they had a ticket to leave Thailand or finances to buy one.

Their ticket was 3 months away, so then informed they needed to buy a ticket that day or be detained until their current booking came about.

Then they asked if they could get their Thai girlfriend to come and discuss the situation.

After she discussed the situation with immigration the situation improved and other options were made available.

They purchased tickets to leave Thailand the next day.

There is more to this story but I will not reveal it here 🤔

yes but apparently it will be up to the individual to prove that they have already paid tax on the money they bring into Thailand & possibly having to do a tax return each year 🤔

But I guess we will eventually know what is happening after they find out themselves 🤣🤣🤣
