If all of Bangkok bank is a problem, they should.

Those that meet the requirements but the bank refuses to document, that should not be a reason to deny a visa.

The US government has gone crazy.

My guess is that a whole life insurance policy would need to be reported once the value reaches $50,000.

A 90 day report was due, when I was hospitalized. My wife called immigration, then took my passport to immigration. They understood the situation.

A renewal might be different.

Only Bangkok bank has a US routing number. The other banks use a SWIFT code. On MyPay the last time I checked, the interface was routing number and account number.

If you don’t already have a Bangkok Bank account, then when setting up the account don’t tell them that the account will be used for a government direct deposit. The bank will shut down electronic features and require you to get money in person.

I use a government direct deposit into a Bangkok account.

I brought one from America in 2013, the only paperwork check was done by the airline before departing.

Check with the airline and have all required government documents, just in case.

Just a reminder of the dangers of driving with an expired DL.
