TLDR : Answer Summary
The post addresses where to exchange coins for cash baht in Thailand, questioning if the process is similar to the U.S. where coins must be rolled and taken to a bank. Responses indicate that various locations are available for exchanging coins: most banks accept coins but require them to be bagged in specific amounts (usually 100 baht); convenience stores like 7-11 will also take coins; and some places like Lotus or local temples may help. A few users mention personal practices such as donating coins instead or using them for small purchases.

I always leave mine in my room for the maid, when I checkout

Massage shops will always have a literal piggy bank for tips.
All bank take it but needed to be bagged. Buy the small/tall plastic bags and put the coins in it , tided it up with the elastic bands and it’d be easily and gladly taking . If you go in without the above method you’d be turned down with the reason of no time/persona to count it.
Bank. They have a counting machine and charge you a few hundred baht for it.

Kasikorn. But i dont tell you which one, otherwise it will get too much for them and they will stop it. You have to spend some time and effort to find one by youself. Sorry🥰
yes. My husband collects 10 baht coins in a box and when its full he brings it to his bank. It usually around 40 000 baht. And i think he pays 300 baht.
A little off topic.. but I always 'donate' all my coins saved up. I find it better donated than waste time organising counting/banking etc.. just for a few hundred baht.
