You're over-reacting to a few dodgy account holders who have had their accounts suspended because they're on incorrect visas. No-one on long term visas is affected
Always the same day at CW. The biggest difference this time was it was the same hour! It usually takes an hour 15 to an hour 30. But the accolades must go to my lady, who got all the paperwork sorted with proper tabs, photocopies, everything in order. Although I did have to buy her lunch. Set me back 199 baht! Still, a bit cheaper than an agent 😆
As Max has pointed out, it's one or the other. I don't like to tie up 800k effectively for the rest of my life, so I use the "income" method of 65k/month transfers, as this money can be used as soon as it registers in your bank account
You might be overthinking the whole thing. I did it yesterday at CW. Didn't need an agent. Just get your documents in order and it takes 40 mins and 1900 baht. So easy!
