Each group’s United Medicare Advantage Plan is different. Most of the plans do not cover international health insurance. But I also have this United Health Care international travel insurance coverage and am grateful to hear that they honored John’s claims.
But UHC says that the plan covers only travel related claims. I’m not sure how long they will cover in this way. I’ve heard different reports about that.
But coverage in any event is not guaranteed as each claim is evaluated separately.
And it is my understanding that it will NOT cover emergency international medical ambulance services.
For those visas requiring a background check, what do they look for besides criminal record or bankruptcy issues? Do they check interactions with Facebook or other social media sites? How deep do they go into your personal life, does anyone know?
I’ve used WF regularly to send money from USA to a friend and his family in Cambodia. Always (with one exception) there within a few hours. No problem. The one exception involved a holiday period followed by a weekend. I think it was this one!) took about 4-5 days. I don’t think you need to worry.
