There are better and cheaper places to retire to with much EASIER IMMIGRATION that, wait for it... speak ENGLISH like the Philippines 🇵🇭!!! Same exact climate and mix of people w/out the irritation 😉 and then there’s Cambodia’s 🇰🇭 Siem Reap and Battambong but stay away from Phnom Penh 😉

Everyone worries about quarantining but I can tell you from direct experience driving all over Thailand that.... it’s not even remotely a problem whether you’re supposed to self quarantine as the rule or not. I doubt most people are even SQ and I can’t imagine how “they” would know or not know anyway— 🤷🏾‍♂️ However, if you change your mind about driving yourself.... Hope this helps 🍀

The truth is, according to Thai law, landlords are only supposed to charge one months rent along with one months deposit. The trouble is, Thai’s have never been very good at following the rules and only very few people or regions follow this to the letter.... it doesn’t help any when foreigners come here and follow suit or over pay for homes and apartments that would otherwise be cheaper for us just because we can afford to pay more than your average Thai. It creates a dangerous precedent. Thai’s are not reasonable/logical people and once one idiot over pays on a place, that figure 💰 gets locked in a Thai’s head and its syanora sucka for the rest of us as they only see foreigners as walking ATM’s with 🤑dollar signs in their eyes— 😂 I’ve come to see that mostly realtors charge 3 months. Probably where they get their commissions although actual landlords probably do it when they offer a furnished place despite that still being illegal— 😉

As it’s Thailand and they never observe the rules they put in place (they’re merely formalities) one should feel free to move about the country as Southwest air used to say— 🚌 I drive everywhere even during peak fake covid and have never had a prob to date. Headed north from south again tomorrow— 🤷🏾‍♂️

it’s a double standard world that you can speak like this (which I agree wholeheartedly with you about concerning covid being a farce) but when I do it, I get blocked on FB. White privilege sure is nice. You missed me with the whole China- America thing though. Everybody knows Russia 🇷🇺 and China 🇨🇳 have the biggest militaries in the world. Covid was made in America in some gov lab with Bill Gates and Johns Hopkins and whoever else. It was introduced/released in Wuhan at the WORLD MILITARY GAMES which is why China gets the blame. A very good question to which I have no idea 💡 but will follow. It would be my hypothesis (from my travels around the globe) that you wouldn’t be able to buy any immovable property w/out a Thai National or two being involved (outside of a condo). The point is to save the land and resources for their people unlike America where we sell 🤬 down the river to every Tom, Dick, and Hairy- 🤷🏾‍♂️ As regards moveable property like cars and the likes, I would think it would be pretty easy and straightforward. That’s my guess and 2 baht anyway. #Following

Thank you for educating me on this pump. This is a rental house so a storage tank is the landlords responsibility (unless it’s an underground one I’m not aware of as there is water under the house with a lid on it in my parking area) although he’s not the best landlord 🤷🏾‍♂️!!
