Hi, has anyone recently traveled from BKK to Chonburi recently? What is the current status on Inter-Provincial Travel. I was considering visiting the beach for a few days. Should I wait until after June 01 for Update?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travel from Bangkok to Chonburi is currently unrestricted, with no significant checkpoints or documentation checks required. Several users reported smooth travels, including a recent minivan journey with basic Covid-19 checks at the departure point. However, many beaches and bars remain closed with only some restaurants operating. Updates on business reopening are anticipated in early June.
I live in Jomtien and travelling backwards and forwards from Bangkok weekly. There was initially a ban on inter province travel but it was cancelled a couple of day's after it was set up.

As it’s Thailand and they never observe the rules they put in place (they’re merely formalities) one should feel free to move about the country as Southwest air used to say— 🚌 I drive everywhere even during peak fake covid and have never had a prob to date. Headed north from south again tomorrow— 🤷🏾♂️

I drove Bkk/Pattaya return a few days ago. No issues at all. Many of the beaches were closed, no bars open but some restaurants were open

I took a minivan from mochit to chonburi city 5 days ago. Normal covid19 check ins with name and phone number (qr code or manual list) and fever measurements was in place in mochit end. Zero checkpoints, check ins or checking for travel documents after leaving from Mochit. And nothing when reaching Chonburi either.
