Howdy Group & thanks for having me! Does anyone know if I can stay in TH legally if I marry my Thai fiancé on the last leg of my tourist visa, (about 2.5 weeks left) or what the process would be? Never a straight answer with Thai gov... 😕 Thank you 🙏.
***Admin turned off commenting for me on my own post for some reason so, firstly thank you to James Sparrow & Ashley Malaichaisong of whom I know personally for the clown who thinks I’m trolling and to everyone who provided good comments/advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the legal options for staying in Thailand if they marry their Thai fiancé while on a tourist visa with limited time remaining. Responses indicate that it is possible to transition from a tourist visa to a Non-O visa, which requires an extension and can take several weeks to process. It is important to inform immigration about the family purpose for the extension. Additionally, some users suggest exploring a volunteer visa as an alternative. The marriage registration process itself also requires time, so planning is essential.

I don’t know where you are in the process but it will take a week or two to get married from start to finish. Factor that into your time in the country. That is marriage registration. A Thai ceremony is a whole other matter. I was married last month.
But than you also need the work permit. And there are more ways to show proof of income, money in the bank is one option and only has to be there for 2 months prior the application.
First you need to get the Non Immigrant O visa based on being married to a Thai National. Depending on your Immigration office it could be done there, visit and ask as well as the requirements if the answer is yes. If the answer is no you have to visit a Thai Consulate.
Yes but ull need an extension of stay as changing from a tourist Visa to non O takes 21 + days ( usually about 50 days as it takes time to arrange appointment in cm ) ( they will extend u 90 days based on family purposes but make sure u specifically tell them this )
Ashley Malaichaisong I only read a question, I'm not going into profile searches to find out where a person is living. There could be a good reason for him for not sharing this with us.
Robert Lagas hes in cm :) To make an appt in cm it takes up to 3 weeks to even be able to apply. Not a walk in like it is in bkk unfortunately (I've done this through cm also)
