The main airlines have taken legal action against the government

The MPs all want it scrapped as the airlines and hotels are suffering badly I think you will find it’s scrapped altogether in a couple of weeks.

When arriving in the uk now you have to give them an address and contact number then self isolate at that address they also randomly call that address to check but it is only dependant on you giving a true address which is why they are considering scrapping it.

Thank you for the information I will probably give it another couple of weeks then take the plunge and book. I am trying to get to my boat which is in Turkey but that’s another story.

I do not ask silly questions My post referred to a recent article stating flights both in and out of Thailand were to both be suspended until further notice.I am constantly looking at online departures and numerous airline websites to try to determine whether there is any truth in it which I doubt because I know at least 3 airlines that are flying out from Bangkok each week.Yes I am fully aware that incoming flights are impossible to obtain but I need to gather as much information as I can before attempting to book and pay for my ticket out.For example Qatar air are operating out at the moment but looking on the Bangkok departures 2 out of 3 flights yesterday were cancelled for whatever reason.
