Just looking at some flights for end of July to Athens Thai airways 40000 thb Emirates same journey but business class 49000 am I missing something.

Will be lucky if there are any scheduled flights to Athens by end July irrespective of price. Websites may offer prices but there is no guarantee planes will be flying. Very much a buyer beware situation until all the various authorities come to an agreement.

They are going to enforce social distancing on Aircraft. This effects load capacity and price unfortunately or the airlines simple couldn't make money. Not that Thai airways has made any money in the last few years. It will apply to all airlines for the time being
