Approx - First year ( 15 Months ) around 35k baht , then around 20k per year after that , all + or - dependent.

Productive , actual , ongoing company , legal but not without risk .

Nominee company , doing nothing but holding property incorrect structure, and never correct .

So to the last part of your question = extremely good chance of happening , bottom line - was never a good idea , now = even worse idea .

But was not a good idea 20 years ago either .

Start with a retirement Visa , forget all the other stuff , do your first 5 years , then consider your future from there .

Forget citizenship , of little benefit anyhow and would take much longer than that .

But still cheaper

A recent visit to 🦘 Australia has well and truly confirmed this .

Mainly due however to a quite ridiculously high Baht , open to interpretation, and of little use to the average Thai citizen .
