I know you dont mean disrespect as we have corresponded previously. I am in an area that has few foreigners and beleive my situation would have been much easier to resolve in Bangkok. I have now got Thai/English speaking friends who are willing to help as well.
I agree with you up to a point but the current virus issues make it impossible to obtain even Visa extensions as you can not leave the country and get back again.
I have put a very large amount of time and effort into trying to sort out a long term Visa and can not do so while in the country. I have not been able to unravel the complications of the system in no small way due to the fact immigration do not have the answers either. I have been told many times to wait for information but it has still not come.
well maybe you could explain it to me as I have spent the last 6 weeks trying to make sense of it. The biggest issue is being told I can not have a bank account on a tourist Visa but can not get the Visa I want without a bank account. There is conflicting and contradictory information everywhere i go.
Nobody will ever understand the Thai Visa system or what is necessary for anyone to stay long term to spend their money. It is a shame but it appears they like it that way. It is just a merry go around with people trying to scam you at every turn.
