No. If you select other countries as current location, your e-visa will be submitted to Thai Embassy in that location

Thats the normal situation for tourist. What you are doing is visa run to bordering country and abusing the tourist visa. If you really want to stay long term then find a proper visa and extension of stay in the country. 180 days in a year on tourist visas is logical for immigration to check on you.
