For workation they will at minimum want to see a letter from your employer allowing you to work remote. If you are self employed you need to show the business docs and provide this letter to yourself. Money going into an account randomly won't cut it.
To apply for a TIN, expats will need to complete Form L.P. 10.1.

really because I was questioned over it and had to show my business and deposits in usa when I applied. Even under soft power because I had been in thailand for 1.5 years and only left for short time. I applied through Taiwan while it was walk in applications and had to stay an extra day to interview immigration and explain where my money comes from.
It really depends they might be more critical on your source of funds. They may ask to prove where your 500k thb comes from and what you have been doing for work. They will want to make sure you haven't been working illegally in thailand.
that's not true. If that Income isn't remitted to thailand in the same year it was earned. There are lots of specifics so everyone's case is different.
