Are any embassies near thailand still doing the walk in processing or have they all gone to e-visa. I'm looking for one that I can have a reasonably quick turn around. Planning for the end of oct/ early Nov to go apply.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Several embassies and consulates near Thailand currently offer walk-in visa processing, including those in Jakarta (Indonesia), Taipei (Taiwan), Vientiane and Savannakhet (Laos), and Yangon (Burma). It's important to note that while most of these locations allow walk-ins, some require an online appointment for entry. Additionally, there are options for same-day processing in Taiwan and relatively quick services in Malaysia, though stricter requirements may apply.

Taiwan is same day. Malaysia is quick but I’ve heard strict. I’m in Jakarta which still does and seems the most flexible, just need the 500k balance and letter saying you can work remotely, so seems most close to the original requirements. But if I did again would do Vietnam and apply through evisa and just send tonnes of documents as one pdf.
