I self filed a TM30 at CW Bangkok immigration with no problems following Tod Daniels advice.

Search this group for - Self file TM 30, and Tod's post is at the top.

Follow his instructions in the post.

Immigration asked to keep a copy of my lease so hand them a copy of it not the original.

I sat in front of the immigration officer for three minutes and received a TM30 without having to pay a fine.

Good Luck

Another option if you can afford it is to get an Elite Visa. I switched from an extension of stay on an ED Visa to an Elite Visa in country last year.

Yesterday I got my new one year permitted to stay stamp at immigration.

I think the Elite Visa is the best for trouble free long term stay in Thailand.

I just got back from CW Immigration. There were less people there today than I have ever seen.

If you want to stay in Thailand long term check into the Elite Visa.

That sounds right for your 90 day report.

When I did my first extension of stay on my Ed Visa at CW they put a paper in my passport letting me know my 90 day report was due 90 days later.

This is my 4th one. When I did the first one the IO questioned my address. Lucky I brought my lease agreement with me. She looked at every page then entered my address off the lease.

After that they appeared to compare the address on their screen with the one on my report.

I just got my passport back today from Thailand Elite for the 90 day report. I do not have a TM30 receipt.

I better get that done before next 90 report.

I agree about the Elite Visa being the way to go. I have met guys here who were married to a Thai lady, but still had an Elite Visa because it is far easier and less drama to get an Elite Visa to stay long term.
