Do I need to report my 90-day TM30 notification at Samut Prakan after extending my ED Visa at Chang Wattana?

Sorry but I have another TM30 question but I don't think I've seen my query before.

Last week I did my ED VISA extension & had to go to Chang Wattana, but my normal immigration office is Samut Prakan.

I was granted my extension & I asked if I had to visit Samut office to notify 90 days on the TM30 slip & was told yes.

This morning I went in to notify 90 days at Sammut & they told me I don't need to & that I now don't have to report again for 90 days?

Is this correct as I am confused?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they need to report their 90-day residency notification at Samut Prakan after obtaining an extension at Chang Wattana. Conflicting advice was given, with one office stating they must report to Samut Prakan and another suggesting it is not necessary. Commenters clarified that the TM30 notification is separate from the 90-day reporting requirement.

That sounds right for your 90 day report.

When I did my first extension of stay on my Ed Visa at CW they put a paper in my passport letting me know my 90 day report was due 90 days later.

You report that you are 90 days inside the Kingdom. You make your reports at the Immigration Office who serve the area where you address is registered.

OK great thanks for the clarity 👍🏾

Your TM30 slip means that you stay at that address and as you mention you did this on Jun 10th. As long as you keep on living on that address you are okay, if you move to a different address you or your landlord need to register your new address.

OK thanks I was sent to Chang Wattana by my language school as they have an assistant there who helps get you through the process.

My TM30 slip in my passport was last stamped in June 10th at Samut so I figured I needed to visit there to notify also?

TM30 has nothing to do with 90 day reporting

Samut Prakan can be a mixed bag, on my last four 90 day reports I have only been asked one time to show my TM.30 and that was back in January. You don't need to update your TM.30, but you may need to show them you have one on file.

James Anderson Formally a TM30 need to be filed within 24 hours of arrival to a new location. However immigration offices enforce this differently. Some require it for every place, some require it when you are in a new province and some only after you arrive from abroad. TM30 is not connected to TM47 or an application of stay. It is only connected to your movement in the kingdom. You need to ask your immigration in your current province how they enforce this law. In other words, you do not update a TM30 for a extension or a 90 days report, you update it when you are on a new location, continuously

Henry St Clair. OK I thought the TM30 has to be updated along with VISA report every 90 days also? Or is it only if you exit the Kingdom & return?
