What are the current requirements for obtaining a driving license in Thailand for expats on a Non-Immi-OA visa?

In Chanthaburi immigration do not give a residency certificate at all end of story and for a driving license at Land Transport they want you to have a Tabien Baan before they will talk to you. This place is proving to be very hard core.

yes it was an AFP check. Make sure you go to the AFP site (

****************************************************************************************************************

or you can get sucked into paying a company to submit you form for you. Took a week for it to arrive in the mail. OA MULTI at Sydney Consulate 270 I think. Cheap and easy took two days.

I have just moved here and am going through the process of an International removal and your stuff must enter the country less than six months after you enter, not when your Visa was issued at the consulate.
