Does an O-A Multi Visa serve as a re-entry permit for Thailand?

Clarification please. I have been granted an O-A Multi visa and it is safely in the passport. I move to Thailand at the end of the month. My question relates to exit and re-entry. Does this O-A Multi Visa count as a re-entry permit or do I need to get some other re-entry permit/stamp from immigration that allows me to travel to and from Thailand without invalidating my O-A Multi. I know it seems straight forward but sometimes things are not what they seem.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The O-A Multi Visa allows for multiple entries into Thailand, meaning it usually serves as a re-entry permit. However, to ensure your visa remains valid during exit and re-entry, you should confirm whether any additional re-entry stamp or permit is required from immigration before traveling.
