as much i know is not 3 moths but 2 months bfor applying ,...after got the visa u need to hold the amount in your acc. for 2 more months but this one i not sure if more months,,,
the normal is that usually nothing happen but in case happen ,the normal and fair is that u sign document taking responsability if any damage caused , or even without signing nothing that u have to pay in case damage but for what a deposit?? , that is a bullshit from juristic office ,abusive and no sense....and to pay fee is worse...and the contractors usually don't care about all this bcos is your issue.....
what i think all this is a bullshit of juristics offices , even the deposit is quite debatable , bcos if something broken then they can ask u to pay for fix it ,or also u can sign any kind document doing u responsability of any damage caused ,and the fee is not only about if 1,200 baths is high or not (by the way i can have a nice meal with my wife in nice restaurant with that money instead to give to some a.h. in juristic office that he will take the meal for free!!! ) ,totally unfair and abusive paying for nothing bcos they don't give u absolutely nothing!!!
about turn back the deposit thats another abusive , someone in the building told me they are like 2-3moths to back the deposit even u finish in 10 days , no sense , and the fee also no sense , they are not doing nothing for u ,...
ok , my reason is if i sell an apartament that bfor i made transfer from abroad to buy it , so came back the money to my country , hope that even more complicate but afordable to do this ...for that i have the kasikorn bank document that the transfer received from abroad was to buy the apartment in bangkok...
