David Quax. Tax is tax. Whichever way you look at it, we all pay into the Thai taxation system so it could be argued we are all "entitled" to be treated equally. But anyone who has been here for any length of time knows that doesn't work. I use around

baht per annum, which I think warrants equality. But it's not going to happen, and I certainly would not expect Thais (or even you as a worker) to subsidise my transport if I choose to go on holiday. I find it hard to understand how many expats have returned to Thailand over the last 6-9 months paying up to $10,000 on air fares, insurance, quarantine etc who then go into meltdown over the extra 20 baht taxis now charge for excess bags coming from the airport, or the extra 200 baht to get into a national park. At the end of the day, if people are that cheap, just don't do it. We have choice
