It's a common misconception that this is a "visa" ... it's an exemption from visa. It's extendable once. The "covid extensions" are not to be counted on ... but keep on trickling through (so far)

My guess (I emphasise GUESS) is that it will be the standard 30 days PLUS the required Quarantine period (however many days that might be).

Most airlines are offering fully changeable tickets at the moment. Pick an ASQ hotel that takes a deposit (5000 baht seems the norm) with the balance to be paid on arrival.
