Is it safe to book refundable flights and ASQ hotels early for a retirement visa in Thailand?
I am looking for advice from those who have used this website for a retirement visa (from the USA). [members only]/
Questions:
The website above requests flight and ASQ info before I get too far in the visa application process. Should I book refundable flights and ASQ or is it safe to go ahead and purchase this early in the process?

Answer summary
The post queries whether it is advisable to book refundable flights and ASQ accommodations early in the retirement visa process through the official Thai e-visa website. Comments suggest that while the official site requires flight and ASQ information, booking refundable options is prudent, with most airlines currently offering flexible tickets and recommended ASQ hotels requesting minimal deposits.

Most airlines are offering fully changeable tickets at the moment. Pick an ASQ hotel that takes a deposit (5000 baht seems the norm) with the balance to be paid on arrival.

It's the official site. You've got to supply what they ask for.
