Too little information.

On what basis are you going for a year? Holiday? Work?

When are you planning on travelling?

it's worth checking with your local immigration office - many seem to set their own variation on the rules.

The best source of info would be the Swedish government website and the airline website.

The general requirement for most countries is a negative covid test taken maximum 72 hours before the 1st international flight. The type of test may vary, but RT-PCR is the most common. Some airlines have additional requirements as do some transit countries.

There are so many variables, it is best to get your info from the relevant websites.

@Adam *****
same requirement as if you were on a direct flight to Thailand. If Thailand requires ABC, then you need to show ABC. I'm unsure about AMS (KLM I presume), but some airlines and some transit points may have additional requirements.

It's exactly the same as taking a direct flight - see

website (with the addition of any local regulations pertaining to the transit nation - ask your airline about that).

I tried to copy the link for you, but couldn't. Google "declaration form for non thai nationals"

Vaccinated makes no difference (yet). Expect quarantine to still be in place by your planned visit. For the rest - you can hope ...
