Since when has immigration been asking for 12 months bank statements. My retirement visa is due for renewal.

Just some clarification needed please...

I'm British, married to a Thai, on a 1 year Non-o extension of stay (90 day reports online).

My extension expires on 6th May and will be renewed at Chaengwattana.

I'm planning to submit my renewal docs 1 week before & I know I'll then get a 30 day under consideration stamp.

The 30 day stamp takes me past my 6 May expiry. This is ok, right? I guess the 30 day consideration stamp acts as authority for me to be in thailand beyond 6th May, until I go back and recollect my passport and new stamp?

Just want to be 100% sure

Can someone advise me please as to what is the earliest I can apply to renew my retirement extension of stay before my current extension of stay expires. I will be renewing in Bangkok.
