Anyone has experience flying to Thailand with Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa or Austrian)? I am asking precisely about onward ticket, if they usually ask for it if you have one-way ticket booked.
Taking our dog with us to Thailand (for our retirement)
We are looking at Lufthansa as they allow dogs in the cabin (in suitable pet carriers and subject to size and weight restrictions) alternatively the pet can go into the aircraft hold
The emotional side of me wants her to be with us, she is very timid and very close to me so will take comfort from hearing my voice and being able to see me
The other side of me is thinking, in the cabin, she will be cooped up in a carrier for 12 hours, similarly to us wearing a straitjacket and perhaps she would be more comfortable in the hold and some reports suggest being in the hold can be less stressful
Anyone have any opinions or experience on which option is the best and no. leaving her behind is absolutely not an option
Does anybody have experience with leaving Thailand via Suvarnabhumi when previously fully recovered from Covid?
Flying to Germany with Lufthansa, I know that Immigration in Germany allows entry from Thailand for recovered people with a positive PCR test older than 28 days and younger than 6 months.
Is there any special test requirement for departure at Suvarnabhumi or will it be sufficient if I only show check-in staff my positive April test and hospital release certificate? Cannot find information about that at the airport website.
Trying to avoid another test because of the cost and hassle and more importantly because I read that in some rare cases tests can detect virus particles that are not contagious even weeks/months after recovery. Being forced to go into another hospital quarantine for no reason would be really awful.
A friend of mine is flying back home to Sweden next month. He's staying on Koh Phangan and flying from Samui to Bangkok and then Bangkok to Gothenburg via Frankfurt with Lufthansa. What kind of covid test (if any) does he need and when at the latest? He tells me that he thinks Sweden doesn't require a covid test atm but he isn't sure. Does he need ont to be let on to the flights? Does anyone know?
