Actually you're not entitled to extend your stay for 30 days, you are entitled to apply for that extention but it's only granted at the discretion of your local Immigration office. Many with a history of entries are now being refused.

 That's the validity of the visa, ie how long you have to use it. It still only allows you 60 days on entry

 Most Visas have a 90 days validity from the date of issue. London generally processes applications within 3-5 days

 Not typically required to be in the Country to apply for your extension of stay but Definitely required to be in the Country. Fixed that for you
