Hello,
When you enter Thailand as a turist for 14 days, do you need to have cash on you to prove that you are capable to pay for accomodation, food, transport, according to the new entry rule in the country? I know that I need to fill a paper before leaving UK, but about money I do not know anything. Thank you for your answers! đ
TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand as a tourist, it is generally required to have proof of funds, which is typically 20,000 baht or the equivalent in another major currency, in cash. This is not a new rule; it has always been a requirement alongside proof of onward travel and proof of accommodation. While it is rare for immigration authorities to ask for these documents, being prepared with cash on hand can prevent potential issues at entry.
