 i dont know about visa exempt for Laos or if there is a limit. You can always apply for a visa on arrival if your passport allows it

Avoid March, April and May, generally these are the hottest months with temps of 40°.

For cooler weather you want December to February.

The single entry is valid for 90 days and gives you 1 90 days entry. The multi-entry is valid for 1 year and gives you multiple 90 days entries.
