true, but nearly impossible to do without lying. They ask on the application who is traveling with her.

Current appointment dates are in July and later. My girlfriend is on her 2nd attempt. She owns property, a house, has a good government job and money in the bank. She was denied out of hand the first time. The guy didn’t even look at her documents.

the labor laws were written to protect Thai jobs, which a digital nomad isn’t threatening. But you’re right that the best thing for them to do is keep a low profile.

digital nomads have been working from Thailand for years. And yes, it’s perfectly legal.

you just need to ask whatever service provider you have to whitelist the domain that you would receive the email from.

I’m really not buying this “gotta use Google mail” or whatever. It really doesn’t matter to their servers. Any email account can have spam filters that could filter out their emails. People just need to look into it and whitelist the Thailand Pass domain for their particular account. I use a private email account and received both the confirmation and QR code. It took 4 days to get the QR code, so patience is needed.

I got my QR code yesterday (Friday) after applying on Monday. It just takes time.
