I'm on a retiree visa and they required the bank to produce documentation that all the funds came from overseas, was required. BKK office.

There are services you can use that will let you purchase a plane ticket and then a couple days later they cancel it. It costs you a small service fee, but it provides you with the necessary booking.

You must go in person your first time. Have fun!

yes 100%. Going to go from 800k to 1.5 million at least, if not more.

Always check your passport when they stamp it. Lesson learned.

With a real ED visa the school acts as your agent and handles most of the visa paperwork for you.

infrastructure is certainly not better than bkk. And owning property is a terrible idea, exposes you to all kinds of political risk, interest rate risk, regulatory risk, and so on. The English is nice. /shrug
