This happened to us a couple of days ago! We were pulled to one side and they said we had to book a flight back home otherwise we couldn't come back into Thailand, we are now in the process of getting our visas, if you are planning on staying in thailand for longer I would advise you to get a visa too

I have just replied to the reason I want an agent is mostly to go through the options I have and to see which one is the right option for me and my family

as to why I want to do it through an agent is I do not want to turn up to a random school not knowing anything about from wanting an education visa, I do not want to fill out the paper work as I don't want anything to go wrong, I want to do it correctly so it's not any trouble for me also I'm trying to find the best option for myself which is why I'm looking for an agent to compare the choices I have for myself and my partner

This happened to me a few years ago during COVID, my passport was stolen and I had to over stay and got a new one sent out from the UK to Thailand, it was very stressful and the overstay fine was very expensive but it all worked out well in the end

I wouldn't recommend border run/ bounce at the moment, they are really strict on it now, a couple of days ago I did this and the immigration officers at the airport wouldn't allow me and my family in Thailand without proof of a flight back home, we had to wait about an hour and a half after our flight to try and sort it out with the immigration and even after that they weren't happy at all, I would recommend getting a visa if you want to stay longer, that is what we are currently doing, its really not worth the risk
