I was here in January but had a tourist 60 day visa which I extend for 30 days at immigration then another 30 days going to Laos. I returned in September for 60 days using the newly implemented exemlt entry

I am here until 30th April and needed 60 days. If I go to immigration and get 30 days like some have I may be refused entry. It is all a bit of a hand jerk reaction to the 60 day tourist entry. This was news to me also.

Because I entered Thailand on 60 day tourist I can only go back to Thailand via Bangkok. I have seen many posts prior to my visit and I assumed as it was my first time this year it would be no problem. Have also noticed new signs displayed showing penalties for overstayers, rather concerned
