no longer is available from the government. However I heard a secondary market exist where you can buy one from someone who has it.

Going to be very hard to find work here. Thai immigration is very tough on the employer wanting to hire a Pakistani. The paperwork is triple to five times. The work permit is pretty straightforward. The trap is the extension of stay based on business. Pakistani can’t just go to a neighbor embassy. They must always go their home country and apply for the visa at the

Getting a tourist visa converted to a non immigrant 90 day visa is almost impossible for a Pakistani as the Pakistan Embassy won’t certify the college diploma.

The best bet is to find a employer before you arrive. Get a Wp3 approval letter. Take that to the Thai Pakistan Embassy and get a non B visa. The work permit will be waiting for you when you arrive. Now the praying begins for that extension of stay. Special Force police and immigration will be visiting your employers headquarters and looking at lots of your employer paperwork, taxes and video taping. Can you get the extension ? Yes, I have three Pakistani employees but it was tremendous amount of work and aggravation. Anytime a terrorist bomb happens, much more scrutiny at immigration.

Before you ask. No, sorry were not hiring.

Best advice, just come for a holiday.
