This is what the department of Labour gave my employer after submitting wp3. Instead of an approval letter I need for my non-b visa requirements. Will this be enough to process my non-b visa in Savanaket, along with the company documents? Or I need the letter of approval from Labour? Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether the document received from the Department of Labour after submitting WP3 is sufficient for processing a Non-B visa or if an official approval letter is necessary. Comments indicate that the approval letter is indeed required for the Non-B visa application.
Hi, You need the APPROVAL LETTER. Only with this is NOT enough to get NON B Visa. Wait until the Labor Department give you the Approval Letter because without this letter is IMPOSSIBLE to get the Non B Visa.
Well Tod I was processed by a WP.3 and a sort of cover letter signed by a labor ministry officer attesting that I really applied for the WP and my WP.3 Application marked "Successful" did belong to me.
you took an extended vacation in Savannakhet when you pushed your Non-B paperwork up there. Do you know if this is all they need from the Ministry of Labour?
And some ministries of labor check the passport stamps if you try to collect it, than the problem start all over again. Or to get the cover letter they want proof the person is abroad.
yep, i even saw once a complete WP3 application going in the bin as the person was waiting on the parking lot. But good employers tell their new staff to stay far away from the ministry of labor and get away with it.
