From the OP's comments and failure to properly answer questions I don't sense that he understood the information. I bet he will be applying for an extension of stay.
Jeff, you are using some incorrect terms in describing your visa status. And by reading the comments and your responses I do not believe some of what you are being told is sinking in. FIRST - you don't have a "metv" anything (the 'tv' means Tourist Visa). Second what you likely have is an O-A Multi Entry Visa for people over age 50 AND this O-A visa is actually a Two Year visa. At the end of the First Year near the Expiry date you Exit and Reenter Thailand. This will give you another year of stay but it is not Multi-Entry. Others have said as much in somewhat different ways... Some commenters have offered wrong information.
Here is Krabi Province -- at Krabi Town on a bad day it is 10 minutes waiting and 2 minutes for the report ... and most days are good days - so no waiting and 2 minutes for the report...
I know a guy whose main home is in Chiang Mai and secondary home in Surat Thani ... every 90 days he visits Surat Thani and does his report using his wife's house address there...
Here in Krabi they keep insisting that 65k a month is not enough.. They want the Income statement to show a monthly that when converted to baht and multipled by 12 = 800,000... I took a copy of the rules last time and they stopped pushing that angle...
Combination method -- money in the bank combined with Income from outside Thailand to equal the equivalent of 800,000 Baht ... I personally do not recommend this method... you have to have bank records and proof of the income via an income statement from your Embassy to prove your income from your home country ...
Income method: Proof of the equivalent of 65,000 Baht income from outside Thailand. Note - this times twelve months does not equal 800,000 But that is the rule... It is better in my opinion to have the monthly income to be equal to or greater than 800,000 --- monthly income times 12 months.
Bank method for a Extension of Stay from a Non immigrant O Visa (usually) 800,000 Thai Baht in a Thai Bank for 2 month first application -- 3 months for the next application a year later.
