Employees of Thai Registered Companies can get a B Visa 90 days. Then with required documents provided by the Employer the Foreign Employee can apply for a One Year Extension of Stay at a Thai Immigration Office. But of course a Work Permit must be applied for and awarded by the Labor Ministry before a One Year Extension of Stay of a B Visa 90 days can be granted.
While it is still on the books...(read closely) the One Year Non Immigrant Multi Entry O Visa - based only on being age 50 or more is rarely issued anymore...
An Extension of Stay to an O or O-A Visa requires presenting proof of financial ability to support yourself. No police check.. The money is 800,000 baht in a Thai Bank or proof of income of 65,000 Baht a month equivalent
No - in the 2nd year of the O-A Visa, the Multi-Entry aspect is dropped.. Same in a one year Extension of Stay - you have to buy rentry permits to exit and renter Thailand to preserve your Visa or Extension
