yes banks need. But bank copy your bio page and ask for signature. CW office is scanning your bio page exactly like smart gates in immigrate check point at the airports. Is it legal? Is it that necessary for a non-Thai disclose their critical info to just a building mgt?

Thais have to scan their ID. Non-Thais have to scan their passport bio page. Who’s idea that? Why do I have to share my passport data to CW building mgt? Even Embassies or Govt Ministries never ask to scan anyone’s passport. I had appointment in that building. I did not carry my passport. Pink card or DL did not accept. So I asked the invitee to meet me at the G floor Starbucks. This is how PDPA practice here!

Chris Middleton certainly agree. That depends on the employer’s integrity too. Imm some cases even demands more sensitive company doc. That’s why I mentioned JP needs a hand-on consultant to handle his case.

Hi, you must need a support of experienced visa service consultant who can do the extension of stay based on retirement within a day. Since your current stay based on WP, so you have to cancel WP on 30 Sept morning and bring that WP cancellation receipt to Immigration. You also have to show your last 3 months payroll record PND1 and letter from HR stating your last day of work on 30 Sept. If you able to show all those documents, you do not need to leave the country and extend your stay based on retirement. For retirement, you must show proof of 800k bank balance of last 3 months and some other supporting documents. You can find the list of required documents on Immigration website. Remember WP cannot cancel in advance, it can only cancel on the same day to the last day of employment unless you have BOI special work visa & WP. Thus you have to cancel your WP in the morning, then run to immigration as fast as possible to do all visa paper work. 🤞 good luck.

I do not know whether IO visited your home/neighbour every year of extension. My wife and I are the only persons living in my house. We might not be available all 30 days during consideration period to face IO unless IO make appointment in advance. Usually they do not prior alert.

Companies worked with past 20 years handled my visa and work permit. Last year (1st time) I did it myself. I will be quite busy next few months. My wife and me might not able to be present at home while IO visit my home for inspection. I’m have sufficient 400k savings, Yellow book and other docs. Thus I was thinking to use an agency service. So I do not need to worry about IO visiting my house. IO never inform you in advance.

I just did 90 reporting last week. I checked documents list. Did not mention about police clearance. Agree with you. Might be another rip off plan
