i converted my TR visa to non o without open a bank account. After getting non o for 3 month, then i opened a bank account for deposit show money. Later, i converted into non o 1 year.
i changed TR to non o (marriage visa). But your case is similar. Can get retirement visa as well. Process is same. If you will get non o (3month) visa from pakistan, it will be more better than TR visa.
if you have 3 month non o visa, they will have to open because without open bank we can't deposit sufficient fund for converting visa for 1 year. Spouse visit visa is unacceptable for bank account opening.
