thanks Todd so where does the 800k fit in is it 2 months before the 5 year extension due

Just about to put my application in I spoke with Sydney consulate about the same thing. Do the application through Sydney the requirement of finance is way lower than the requirement if you go through Canberra embassy. And yes information form these two sources is very different. My biggest problem is getting the certificate of insurance. so do that early with whoever you choose to. I fly on 29 March and still haven't been able to apply. Started process mid January. Everything else quite easy. Good luck R
