TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the experiences of individuals obtaining Australian tourist visas for their Thai partners. Key points include the necessity of proving the legitimacy of the relationship, demonstrating ties to Thailand (like employment and property), and completing biometric requirements. Some participants share both successful and challenging experiences, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive documentation and supportive agents. Overall, positive outcomes are reported when adequate evidence of relationship and intent to return to Thailand is provided.

Yes, used an agent Siam legal supplied everything they asked, FB photos over 6years, letter of invitation, a guarantee her expenses were covered, copies of my bank statements 50k plus her bank statement 13k plus , her job status, land and house details, reasons why she would return to thailand and after all that crap they said no it was declined, they stated ,this is there words I HIGHLY DOUBT YOUR IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH MR FRAZER AND DOUBT YOU WILL RETURN SHOULD YOU BE GRANTED A VISA, I checked the immi account Siam legal had left a fair bit out, I wrote them a scathing email and the department of immigration in Bangkok, Siam legal resubmitted it for free a second time and it was approved 3 weeks later. So it can be challenging , supply as much information as you can and even more if possible, but in saying this it does depend on who is reading your application and whether there in a good mood or not, the whole experience was laughable.
